Well, actually, this is the cemetery.
The location of the prison was down the road
and around the corner. On private property.

Since it was only four days before the autumnal equinox,
the sun was rising just slightly north of due east.
Taking advantage of a clear day, some photos of Perry's Monument, or as the National Park Service calls it,
"Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial."
